As a result, our nervous systems are in a constant state of overstimulation! Chronic stress is becoming an epidemic of the twenty-first century.
This results in inefficiency, decreased creativity and low workplace moral. Many businesses are faced with decreased productivity, increased staff absenteeism, high turnover rates and employ burnout (link to article- WHO).
Chronic stress is the culprit behind these challenges, but it doesn’t have to be that way.
To combat this state of affairs world-leading companies (link to article) are introducing mindfulness as an antidote to chronic stress. Mindfulness is being interwoven into workplace environments to reduce chronic stress, increase performance, improve creativity, promote constructive communication and enhance well-being and improve team dynamics.

Program Overview – this evidence-based program introduces individuals to the physiology of stress and emotions. Furthermore, it offers tools to better manage work-related and personal stress in order to cultivate emotional balance, improve concentration and improve attention.
Program Format – the 20-hour program is delivered in a workshop setting, with a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 30 participants. It consists of 8 weekly 2-hour sessions and one 4-hour workshop.
Program Outcomes – the course trains participants to:
